Basketball Recap: Caden Andreas' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Ridgeline over University

Ridgeline was the 65-47 winner over University when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Ridgeline Falcons fell 83-75 to the University Titans on Friday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (57), the Falcons still had to take the loss.

Several Falcons players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Caden Andreas, who went 10-for-22 en route to 28 points in addition to six rebounds and three steals. The contest was Andreas' 15th in a row with at least 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brayden Allen, who went 8-for-13 on his way to 23 points.

This is the second loss in a row for Ridgeline and nudges their season record down to 7-11. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.0 points over those games. As for University, their win bumped their record up to 5-12.

Ridgeline wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 67-65 loss against Cheney on the 4th. As for University, they have also already played their next game, a 67-57 victory against Ferris on the 4th.
