On Wednesday, Weber faced Pleasant Grove in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Weber Warriors' defense stepped up to hand the Pleasant Grove Vikings a 1-0 shutout. The Warriors' victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Jace Rydalch, who's now up to three this season.

Weber pushed their record up to 7-0 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Pleasant Grove, they moved to 6-1 with that defeat, which also ended their six-game winning streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Weber will venture away from home to square off against Davis at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. This will be Davis' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Pleasant Grove, they are taking a road trip to face off against Westlake at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Pleasant Grove's last four matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
