Volleyball Recap: Page Takes a Loss

Page lost against Brentwood on Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Sunday. The Patriots fell just short of the Bruins by a score of 3-2. The Patriots' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Page sadly wound up on the wrong side. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 21-25, 25-19, 19-25, 15-7.

Despite the loss, Page still got an impressive performance from Hannah Rider, who had 20 digs and two aces. Rider has been hot for a while, having posted 12 or more digs the last 12 times she's played.

Page's loss dropped their record down to 18-12. As for Brentwood, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 24-4.

Page does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Brentwood, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Summit on the 6th.
