Baseball Recap: Broken Arrow Takes a Loss

After flying high against Northwest Classen on Monday, Broken Arrow came back down to earth. The Tigers lost 9-2 to the Owasso Rams on Thursday. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Rams recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Broken Arrow's defeat dropped their record down to 15-14. As for Owasso, their victory was their 21st straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 32-2.

When Broken Arrow and Owasso next hit the field, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. The Tigers will take on Har-Ber and their three-game winning streak at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Owasso will try to stop Enid's three-game winning streak when they meet at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Rams 1.5, the Plainsmen 3.1) so any runs scored will be well earned.
