Baseball Recap: North Augusta's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three

While North Augusta's win against Aiken wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Yellow Jackets won by a run and slipped past the Fighting Green Hornets 2-1. That's two games straight that the Yellow Jackets have won by just one run.

The victory (which was North Augusta's third in a row) raised their record to 6-13. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Aiken, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-11.
