Basketball Recap: Ogden International Comes Up Short

After flying high against Hyde Park back in December of 2024, Ogden International came back down to earth. Ogden International lost 46-23 to the Dyett Eagles on Wednesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Ogden International of the 40-22 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2022.

Keyanna Sanderson was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 25 points and 11 boards for Dyett. That makes it 11 consecutive games in which Sanderson has scored at least a third of Dyett's points. Another player making a difference was Janiha Robinson, who posted 11 points in addition to eight boards and four steals.

Ogden International's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Dyett, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-7.

Ogden International will face off against Lincoln Park at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Dyett, they will take on Northside at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
