The Ripon Indians can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They came out on top against Sierra by a score of 48-35. For Ripon, this counts as revenge for the 51-43 loss Sierra walked away with the last time they faced one another last Wednesday.
Landon Gillespie was the offensive standout of the contest as he scored 17 points. Dawson Downs was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Ripon's victory bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Sierra, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-5.
Ripon won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Leadership at 1:30 p.m. on December 16th. Leadership is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games. Sierra will be home for the holidays to greet Golden Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
