Volleyball Recap: Valley Center's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

With a playoff win on the line, Valley Center rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Health Sciences Serpents. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Jaguars as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Valley Center's victory bumped their record up to 11-20. As for Health Sciences, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 8-8.

Coming up, Valley Center will face off against Monte Vista at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Monarchs will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Jaguars surely won't give up without a fight. Health Sciences does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
