South Grand Prairie waltzed into their match on Thursday with five straight wins... but they left with six. Everything went their way against the Haltom Buffalos as they made off with a 9-3 victory. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 games by six runs or more this season.

Isaac Leal looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Daylon Brooks was a standout: he went 1-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Isaac Rios, who went 1-for-4 with one home run and three RBI.

South Grand Prairie's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-6-2. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Haltom, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 16-13.
