Baseball Game Preview: Jackson Center Tigers vs. Russia Raiders

Jackson Center is 0-9-1 against Russia since March of 2018 but things could change on Thursday. The Tigers will welcome the Raiders at 5:00 p.m.

On Monday, Jackson Center didn't have quite enough to beat Riverside and fell 4-3.

Jackson Center saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Blake Noble, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI.

Meanwhile, while Russia put up some runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Anna. The Raiders sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-0 victory over the Rockets. The win continues a trend for the Raiders in their matchups with the Rockets: they've now won seven in a row.

Russia's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-4. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Jackson Center, their loss dropped their record down to 4-8.
