After only 24 points in their last match, Elida made sure to put some points up on the board against Capitan on Friday. The Elida Tigers claimed a resounding 64-37 win over the Capitan Tigers. Elida has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 27 points or more this season.

Elida moved to 4-5 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Capitan, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.
