The Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City Bobcats and the St. Anthony Bulldogs squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but sadly the Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City Bobcats had to settle for second. They took a 65-48 bruising from the Bulldogs. Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City's defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

When it comes to explaining why Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City lost, one person who can't be blamed is Macee Rodman. Despite the final result, she scored 23 points along with two steals. Rodman has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ines Saez-Ferrer, who scored 11 points.

Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City's defeat dropped their record down to 18-14. As for St. Anthony, they pushed their record up to 23-8 with that victory, which was their seventh straight at home.
