Football Recap: Liberty Creek Comes Up Short

Liberty Creek kicked off their season on the road on Wednesday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a 29-12 bruising from the Stone Memorial Panthers.

It was another big night for Lauren Clark, who rushed for 157 yards and four touchdowns on only 11 carries for Stone Memorial. Those 157 rushing yards gave Clark a new career-high.

The win was the eighth in a row for Stone Memorial, bringing their record up to 17-1.

Liberty Creek does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Stone Memorial has already played their next game (against Fulton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
