Baseball Recap: Laguna Hills Takes a Loss

Laguna Hills was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Ocean View Seahawks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Seahawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 last Friday.

Laguna Hills saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Damian Youngman, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. Nathan Ivey was another, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

Laguna Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Ocean View, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-7.

While Laguna Hills had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:15 p.m. on Friday.
