Softball Game Preview: Evergreen Plainsmen vs. Battle Ground Tigers

Evergreen is 0-10 against Battle Ground since April of 2015 but things could change on Thursday. Evergreen will venture away from home to take on Battle Ground at 4:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Evergreen is headed into Thursday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their sixth straight game dating back to last season on Wednesday. They came up short against Mark Morris, falling 14-1.

Meanwhile, Battle Ground didn't have quite enough to beat Heritage on Tuesday and fell 5-4.

Evergreen's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Battle Ground, they now have a losing record of 1-2-1.

Evergreen suffered a grim 13-2 defeat to Battle Ground in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can Evergreen avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
