Looking at 2014 NFL Draft stars when they were in high school

Next year's NFL Draft will feature players that were all over MaxPreps.com not that long ago.
Now that the 2013 NFL Draft is all wrapped up, pundits and fans already have an eye toward the 2014 NFL Draft.
Next year's draft boasts an impressive group of talented collegiate players who once starred on the prep ranks.
MaxPreps looks at the projected Top 10 picks (
according to WalterFootball.com) when they were in high school.
1. Jadeveon Clowney - South Pointe (Rock Hill, S.C.)

Jadeveon Clowney was clearly the nation's No. 1 recruit in the Class of 2011. He was also a three-time MaxPreps All-American.

2. Teddy Bridgewater - Northwestern (Miami)
When he was at Northwestern, there was some debate as to whether Bridgewater might be better suited for receiver. Now, he's poised to be the first quarterback off the board next year.

3. Johnny Manziel - Tivy (Kerrville, Texas)

Once an Oregon commit, Manziel carved out a Texas-sized legend in high school before signing with Texas A&M.

4. Jake Matthews - Fort Bend Elkins (Missouri City, Texas)
Matthews was part of a recruiting class that also featured Luke Joeckel and Jarvis Harrison.

5. Marqise Lee - Serra (Gardena, Calif.)
Lee and teammate Robert Woods were an explosive duo for Serra.

6. Cyrus Kouandjio - DeMatha (Hyattsville, Md.)
Kouandjio followed in his brother's footsteps and, after a dramatic National Signing Day, eventually joined the Crimson Tide.

7. Austin Seferian-Jenkins - Gig Harbor (Wash.)
Austin Seferian-Jenkins was a huge matchup problem in high school. He was also a standout basketball player.

8. Sammy Watkins - South Fort Myers (Fla.)

A first team MaxPreps All-American, Watkins caught 54 passes for 1,268 yards and 14 touchdowns as a senior.

9. David Fales - Palma (Salinas, Calif.)
An under-recruited pocket passer, Fales led Palma to an 8-3 record as a senior.
