Timpanogos has gone a perfect 4-0 against Payson recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Timberwolves are taking a road trip to face off against the Lions at 7:00 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Timpanogos is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Utah's top teams: Orem, who was ranked 11th at the time (Timpanogos was ranked 24th). The Timberwolves fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 2-1 on Friday. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since April 14, 2023, but that streak is no more.

Meanwhile, Payson's game on Friday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Provo.

Payson has also been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season. As for Timpanogos, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-4.

Timpanogos was able to grind out a solid win over Payson in their previous meeting back in April, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Timberwolves since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
