Softball Recap: Northwest Comes Up Short

If Northwest was feeling good fresh off their 32-0 takedown of Jemez Valley on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Falcons came up short against the Navajo Prep Fightin Eagles on Friday, falling 17-2. The Falcons have struggled against the Fightin Eagles recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Northwest's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Navajo Prep, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-5.

Coming up, Northwest will welcome Jemez Valley at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Navajo Prep, they will face off against Hozho Academy at 3:45 p.m. on Saturday.
