Basketball Recap: South Effingham Comes Up Short

South Effingham managed to keep up with Calvary Day until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Mustangs had to suffer through a 76-48 loss at the hands of the Cavaliers. The loss continues a trend for the Mustangs in their meetings with the Cavaliers: they've now lost five in a row.

South Effingham's loss came despite strong showings from Michael Hall and Marcus Campbell. Hall posted 18 points, while Campbell put up nine points and three steals. Hall is crushing it when it comes to points: he's scored at least 16 every time he's taken the court this season.

South Effingham's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
