Basketball Recap: Elizabethtown Comes Up Short

Elizabethtown was the 77-62 winner over Meade County when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Elizabethtown Panthers took a 73-60 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Meade County Green Waves on Monday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (59), the Panthers still had to take the loss.

Elizabethtown's loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Meade County, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.

Elizabethtown has already played their next contest (against Central Hardin), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Meade County has already played their next game, a 68-51 defeat against Grayson County on the 4th.
