Soccer Recap: Auburndale Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Auburndale can now relate to. They came up short against the Cypress Creek Coyotes on Friday, falling 3-0. The matchup was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Bloodhounds couldn't quite close it out.

Auburndale's loss dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Cypress Creek, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.

Auburndale does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cypress Creek, they will challenge Innovation at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Innovation will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Cypress Creek surely won't give up without a fight.
