Baseball Recap: Turner Comes Up Short

Turner was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Washington Wildcats. The Golden Bears were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Turner's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Washington, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-8.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Turner beat the Wildcats by a score of 23-2 later that day.
