Granite City is a perfect 5-0 against Cahokia since May of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Warriors will be playing at home against the Comanches at 4:15 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Granite City came up short against Jersey on Tuesday, falling 10-1. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Granite City saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chloe Randolph, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, Cahokia scored the most runs they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 23-18 hit to the loss column at the hands of Althoff Catholic. Even if the Comanches couldn't come away with the victory, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.

Cahokia's defeat dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Granite City, their loss dropped their record down to 4-19.

Granite City got the 'W' when the teams last played back in May of 2025 against Cahokia by a conclusive 15-0 score. Do the Warriors have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Comanches turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
