Great Bridge had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Thursday. They came out on top against the Oscar Smith Tigers by a score of 3-1. This was a revenge game for the Wildcats: when they faced off against the Tigers back in August, they had to take a 3-2 loss.

The victory didn't come easy: Oscar Smith scored at least 22 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-22, 24-26, 25-23.

Despite the defeat, Oscar Smith had strong showings from Sophia Florez, who had 15 digs, and Amari Chaney, who hit 50% for five kills and 17 digs, three aces, and two blocks. Florez is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least ten every time she's taken the court this season.

The win got Great Bridge back to even at 9-9. As for Oscar Smith, they moved to 9-6 with that loss, which also ended their five-match winning streak.
