The DeWitt Dragons will square off against the Stuttgart Ricebirds at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. DeWitt will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
DeWitt's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past Drew Central 15-0. Considering the Dragons have won six contests by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Khloe Llyod made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, one run, and one double. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, Harley Grammer was incredible, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one home run the last three times she's played. Tori Ross was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two runs and two RBI.
DeWitt always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .680. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Stuttgart came up short against Wynne on Thursday and fell 9-4.
Stuttgart saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hali Watkins, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that Watkins has launched this season. Another was MyKayla Hale, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI.
Stuttgart dropped their record down to 10-8 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for DeWitt, their victory bumped their record up to 8-5.
Everything went DeWitt's way against Stuttgart when the teams last played back in March of 2025, as DeWitt made off with a 28-0 win. Do the Dragons have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Ricebirds turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
