Baseball Recap: Western Sierra Collegiate Academy Takes a Loss

After soaring to 14 runs the game before, Western Sierra Collegiate Academy was a bit more limited in their contest on Thursday. They came up short against the Sacramento Dragons, falling 8-2. The Wolves were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Dragons earlier this season, when they won 17-12.

Western Sierra Collegiate Academy has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-8 record this season. As for Sacramento, they moved to 9-18 with that victory, which also ended their 14-game losing streak.

Coming up, Western Sierra Collegiate Academy is taking a road trip to square off against Colfax at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sacramento does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
