Softball Recap: Dawson County Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Dawson County can now relate to. They lost 14-6 to the East Helena Vigilantes on Saturday.

Ellie Peoples was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI. Meredith Sackman also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

Dawson County's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for East Helena, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-11.

As of now, neither Dawson County nor the Vigilantes have any future games scheduled.
