Softball Recap: Eastern View Cyclones vs. King George Foxes
Eastern View dropped their record down to 16-3 on Friday, which also ended the team's five-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the King George Foxes by a score of 3-2. Cailin Rendell put in work while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 25 batters over 12.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off seven hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than 12 strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-5 with one home run.
