Mineral Point barely beat Lancaster the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Pointers blew past the Flying Arrows 11-1 on Saturday. The result was nothing new for the Pointers, who have now won nine contests by six runs or more so far this season.

The win was the fifth in a row for Mineral Point, bringing their record up to 14-5. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.4 runs on average over those games. As for Lancaster, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-7 record this season.

Mineral Point has already played their next game, a 10-0 win against Waterloo on the 10th. As for Lancaster, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 7-2 loss against Mount Horeb on the 10th.
