Marion County not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 6th. Everything went their way against the Brainerd Panthers as they made off with a 12-0 victory. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Emma McCallie made a splash no matter where she played. She tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.

In other batting news, Marion County got a big performance out of MaKynlee Hutchins, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2. That stolen base was Hutchins' first of the season. Another player making a difference was Havyn Rogers, who scored two runs while going 1-for-1.

Marion County was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .571. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Marion County's record now sits at 8-10. As for Brainerd, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-7.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Marion County beat the Panthers by a score of 15-1 later that day.
