Basketball Game Preview: Chapman Panthers vs. Union County Yellowjackets

The Chapman Panthers will face off against the Union County Yellowjackets at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Chapman has seven straight wins, Union County has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

On Friday, Chapman was fully in charge, breezing past Mountain View Prep 51-21. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 22 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Union County played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against Broome, falling 53-30.

Chapman's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-9. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.8 points per game. As for Union County, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-13.
