Baseball Recap: William Penn Comes Up Short

William Penn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 11-1 to the Boiling Springs Bubblers. If the Bearcats were looking for revenge after losing 15-2 to the Bubblers when the teams met back in April of 2019, then they'll just have to keep looking.

William Penn's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Boiling Springs, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. William Penn will head out to square off against South Western at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Boiling Springs, they will challenge West Perry at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
