Soccer Game Preview: Providence Christian Academy vs. Prince Avenue Christian

The Providence Christian Academy Storm will head out on the road to face off against the Prince Avenue Christian Wolverines at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Last Tuesday, Providence Christian Academy came up short against Berkmar and fell 3-1. The loss was the Storm's first of the season.

Their goal came courtesy of Kristopher Darmstaedter, who's now up to five this season.

Meanwhile, Prince Avenue Christian had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They blew past Greene County 5-1 on Tuesday.

Having lost for the first time this season, Providence Christian Academy fell to 2-1. As for Prince Avenue Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.

Everything went Providence Christian Academy's way against Prince Avenue Christian in their previous matchup back in March of 2021, as Providence Christian Academy made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Providence Christian Academy since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
