American Heritage Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon Pirate, falling 79-8. The contest marked the Patriots' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Bradie Xaysana led the charge by putting up 17 points. Another player making a difference was Damon Ameperosa, who posted 13 points.

American Heritage Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-9.

American Heritage Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon, they will venture away from home to square off against Mater Academy East Las Vegas at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Mater Academy East Las Vegas will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon surely won't give up without a fight.
