Football Recap: Centralia Skates Past Macon with Ease

There's no place like home for Centralia, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They really took it to the Macon Tigers for the full four quarters, racking up a 50-13 victory. With the Panthers ahead 38-0 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Centralia got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Peyson Bryson out in front who rushed for 121 yards and one TD on only six carries. Bryson really tore up the turf during one magnificent 72-yard run. Rex Bryson was in the mix as well, providing Centralia with two touchdowns.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Centralia was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 435 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in October of 2024.
