Recap: Calvary Saints vs. Quest Charter Academy Gators
The Calvary Saints scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They breezed by Quest Charter Academy on the road to the tune of 79-47. Calvary might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won four contests by 23 points or more this season.
Calvary was led to victory by Connor Brown and Luke Blackford. Brown dropped a double-double on 24 points and ten rebounds, while Blackford dropped a double-double on 39 points and ten rebounds. The contest was Blackford's seventh in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Joshua Long, who scored 11 points.
The win for Calvary keeps them at an undefeated 7-0. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.6 points per game. As for Quest Charter Academy, they bumped their record down to 1-6 with that defeat, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.
Calvary won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Tri-City at 7:30 p.m. on December 12th. Tri-City comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Quest Charter Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Heyworth at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
