Llano came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Brady Bulldogs 13-1. The Yellowjackets have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bulldogs, too.

Austin Humphries made a big impact no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 12 over six innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Josiah Wood, who went 3-for-5 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Will Morris, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one double.

Llano's victory bumped their record up to 18-4. As for Brady, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-13.

Llano will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Bulldogs: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
