Basketball Recap: Clarksdale Comes Up Short

Clarksdale was the 34-31 winner over West Point when they last played one another last Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Clarksdale Wildcats fell to the West Point Green Wave 46-42.

Clarksdale's loss was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-11. As for West Point, they moved to 4-15 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Clarksdale wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 61-24 defeat against Pontotoc on the 21st. West Point has also already played their next game, a 53-9 loss against Okolona on the 18th.
