Quarry Lane had already won seven in a row and they went ahead and made it eight on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the California School for the Deaf Eagles. That's more bragging rights for the Cougars, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Quarry Lane never let California School for the Deaf on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-15, 25-22.

Quarry Lane's win bumped their record up to 21-1. As for California School for the Deaf, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-17.
