Baseball Game Preview: Baldwin Indians vs. West Nassau Warriors

The Baldwin Indians will be taking part in a tournament against the West Nassau Warriors at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Baldwin took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Englewood a 2-0 shutout. The Indians haven't had any issues with the Rams recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, West Nassau had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They walked away with a 6-3 win over the Buccaneers.

Baldwin now has a winning record of 9-8. As for West Nassau, their victory bumped their record up to 9-6.
