It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Hume-Fogg Blue Knights 13-12. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Royals have posted since March 22nd.
Briana Clark was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed 2.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs but no hits.
