Preview: Opp Bobcats vs. Pleasant Home Eagles
Having just played yesterday, the Opp Bobcats will get right back to it and host the Pleasant Home Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on December 12th. Opp comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
On Monday, Opp came up short against Red Level and fell 44-36.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Cuba Wiggins, who scored 12 points along with nine rebounds. Wiggins set a new season high mark in points with 12. Jalisa Smith was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with six rebounds.
Meanwhile, Pleasant Home beat Zion Chapel 23-10 on Friday. The win was just what Pleasant Home needed coming off of a 48-16 defeat in their prior game.
Opp's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Pleasant Home, they pushed their record up to 4-4 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home.
