Baseball Recap: Huron Comes Up Short

Huron made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Milan, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The River Rats fell just short of the Big Reds by a score of 9-7 on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the River Rats have suffered since April 7th.

Andrew Hoffman was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season.

Huron has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 11 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-24-1 record this season. As for Milan, their win bumped their record up to 12-16.
