Volleyball Recap: Kentwood Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Kentwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Tahoma Bears. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 last Saturday.

Kentwood was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Tahoma work for it, especially in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-14, 17-25, 26-24.

Chloe Phan was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had six digs and three aces. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in assists (14).

Kentwood's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Tahoma, their win bumped their record up to 3-5-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Kentwood will square off against rival Auburn Riverside at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Tahoma is set to take on their familiar foe Mt. Rainier at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
