Volleyball Game Preview: Liberty Hurricanes vs. Southern Lehigh Spartans

The Liberty Hurricanes will square off against the Southern Lehigh Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Liberty is headed into Monday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Friday. They came up short against Freedom, falling 3-0. The match marked the first time this season in which the Hurricanes were not able to get on the board.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-12, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Southern Lehigh lost 3-0 to Emmaus on Thursday. The shutout was out of character for the Spartans seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in March.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-15, 25-19.

Southern Lehigh's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Liberty, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Liberty came out on top in a nail-biter against Southern Lehigh in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. Do the Hurricanes have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Spartans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
