Fayette County hadn't done well against Northridge recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Fayette County Tigers came out on top against the Northridge Jaguars by a score of 6-3. This was payback for the Tigers, who suffered a 7-5 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Fayette County has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.2 runs on average over those games. Northridge's loss dropped their record down to 4-7.

Fayette County wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 4-2 defeat against South Lamar on the 8th. Northridge will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Brookwood at 5:00 p.m. on March 18th.
