Softball Preview: Patrick County Cougars vs. Floyd County Buffaloes
Patrick County has been on the road for two straight, but on Wednesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Floyd County Buffaloes at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Patrick County is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 9.2 runs per game this season.

Even though they lost, Floyd County was hitting in the alleys and finished the game with five doubles. That's the most doubles they've managed all season.
Patrick County's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Floyd County, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.

However, it's not like Floyd County struggles in that department as they've been averaging 0.6. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
