Football Game Recap: Pond Creek-Hunter vs. Tyrone

After soaring to 62 points the game before, Tyrone faltered in their matchup on Friday. They were dealt a punishing 46-0 defeat at the hands of Pond Creek-Hunter. The result was totally at odds with the teams' rankings as Tyrone enjoys a hefty spot advantage.

The loss dropped the Bobcats back to even at 4-4. The win for Pond Creek-Hunter kept them a perfect 9-0.

Tyrone will square off against Timberlake at 7 p.m. ET next week. Coming off of a loss in a game they were expected to win, Tyrone now face the more daunting task of proving themselves against unfavorable odds. As for Pond Creek-Hunter, they will face off against Boise City at 7 p.m. ET. Boise City took a loss in their last game and are no doubt out to reverse Pond Creek-Hunter's good fortune.
