Christian Learning Center had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Clinton Christian Academy on Friday and snuck past 51-49.

Plaza Heights Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Remi Schieber, who dropped a double-double on 28 points and 12 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke Jones, who scored 20 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals.
Christian Learning Center's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Plaza Heights Christian Academy, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
