Basketball Recap: Wayne County Comes Up Short

If Wayne County was riding high fresh off their 50-27 takedown of New Hampstead last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wayne County Yellow Jackets took a 38-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ware County Gators. The Yellow Jackets haven't had much luck with the Gators recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.

Wayne County's defeat dropped their record down to 14-9. As for Ware County, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 22-4.

As of now, neither Wayne County nor Ware County have any future games scheduled.
